Dennis teaches youth and adults:

  • Entrepreneurship skills through youth Entrepreneurship Investigation and Community Connection programs
  • Online direct marketing via Social Media 101 & 201 workshops
  • Leadership skills for regional community groups through leading locally, building entrepreneurial communities
  • Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (SET) skills and career opportunities to youth through robotics, GPS, social media awareness

An interesting fact from Dennis:
As I look back at how we introduced the first computers into extension offices in the late 1970's, we could never imagine that our lives would depend on having connectivity to perform so many of our daily tasks at work and at home.

Why Dennis is participating in the Broadband Initiative:
I believe that without excellent and uniform broadband connections throughout Nebraska, our communities and businesses will struggle to incorporate the technology they will need to be efficient and compete in regional and global markets in the future.
