*** New Organizational Application (OA) Round
In accordance with the recently released NTIA policy notice, the Nebraska Broadband Office will offer an additional round of OAs.
If you are interested in applying for NBEAD but have not yet submitted an OA to become an Approved Applicant, please email us at nbo.grants@nebraska.gov to express your interest. This will ensure you receive important updates.
If you have already submitted an OA, you do not need to submit another one.
*** Technical Assistance Call - 6/18/2025
NBO will be hosting a Technical Assistance Call for applicants on Wednesday, June 18th, at 3:00 PM Central Time.
We will discuss how NBO is implementing the new guidance from NTIA.
If you are a potential applicant that is interested in attending, please request the meeting information from nbo.grants@nebraska.gov.
• February 7 – OA portal opens for 30 days
• March 9, 11:59PM CT – OA portal closes
*A list of Approved Applicants will be published to NBO’s website – only Approved Applicants will be able to submit PAs
• April 1, 2025– PA Round 1 opens for 30 days
• May 16, 2025 11:59PM CT – PA Round 1 closes*
*Following PA Round 1, NBO will evaluate the needs and requirements for additional rounds.
