On April 18, 2022, the Governor signed the Economic Recovery Act (the Act), LB 1024 (2022), which created the 2023 Capital Projects Fund (CPF) Grant Cycle to facilitate and fund the deployment of broadband networks in unserved and underserved areas of rural Nebraska. The build out locations are limited to only locations in the 1st and 3rd district.
